Fighters Only is reporting that Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping have verbally agreed to fight in February at UFC 110.  Though not yet confirmed by the UFC, that match up would reportedly take place at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Michael Bisping recently followed a very disappointing performance against Dan Henderson with a victory over Denis Kang at UFC 105.  Wanderlei Silva lost a close decision to Rich Franklin in his last fight at UFC 99.  In the end, Silva has won approximately two thirds of his fights by (T)KO and has lost half of his fights in similar fashion.  The same is true for Bisping.

So guess is that someone is going to lose by knockout.  Should be a good one.

Maybe you’re wondering what’s on Brett Rogers’ mind as the days countdown to his November 7 Strikeforce meeting with Fedor Emelianenko.  Well, let’s put it this way- he’s still not lacking any confidence.  Along with this, he recently told Fanhouse, “I don’t plan on losing any time soon.” 

Translation: I’ll defeat Fedor Emelianenko this weekend. 

And Rogers didn’t stop there, either.  He’s not just planning on beating Emelianenko, he’s planning on being impressive.  “Once everybody sees what I do in the cage,” he noted, “jaws are going to drop.”

The bottom line is that jaws will drop if Rogers wins.  Looking forward to seeing if his prediction comes true.
