Is the UFC going to be the NFL of MMA and the rest of the promotion companies arena football? Do you think it is best to have one true championship promotional company? Do you think the UFC has a fair ranking system?

UFC light heavyweight Chuck Liddell says he still expects to fight
nemesis Tito Ortiz – he’s earned it, after all.

Liddell (21-7 MMA, 16-6 UFC), who coaches opposite Ortiz (15-7-1 MMA,
14-7-1 UFC) on the upcoming 11th season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” said
it took exactly one week to get motivated for a third meeting with Ortiz
at the show’s conclusion.

While question marks surround Ortiz’s participation on the show – not to
mention the location of the traditional post-”TUF” coaches’ showdown -
the five-time UFC light heavyweight champion said as far as he knows,
it’s business as usual.

I live in Illinois so prices for tickets in St. Louis and Chicago would be helpful.

I want to know how much a UFC fight costs and other MMA organizations would also be helpful.

Despite enduring a much-discussed heel hook at UFC 111 that had him
writhing on the ground in obvious agony, UFC middleweight Tomasz Drwal
received a bit of good news today.

MMAjunkie.com has learned that initial X-rays
revealed no fractures in Drwal’s knee or leg.

Drwal and his camp are hoping the injury is just a bad sprain of the
knee.

Does Georges St-Pierre really deserve so much criticism after such a lopsided victory? Is Shane Carwin ready for Brock Lesnar? Is anyone willing to commend Jon Fitch on his 12th career UFC win? And do fans have a newfound respect for Dan Hardy?

Following Saturday’s UFC 111 event, this week’s edition of “The Sunday Junkie,” our reader-feedback feature, obviously focused heavily on the show.

But this week’s winning entry came from “SOBRALSNUMBER1,” who explains why one potential coach for “The Ultimate Fighter 12″ is the perfect fighter to lead a group of UFC hopefuls.

I don’t know much about UFC but its entertaining to watch. My question is, what moves aren’t allowed? And if banned moves were allowed and the fight was to death, how much different would the fights look? Would the same fighters/ styles be just as dominant? Would the fighters be more conservative or more aggressive?

I know its a bit of a morbid question but I’m just curious thats all.
